**Responsibilities**:

- Determine temporary labor requirements and notify the Supervisor for appropriate arrangements.
- Organize break schedules in accordance with Employment Standards Act regulations.
- Verify metal detector functionality before and during the shift.
- Ensure accurate updating of lot and product codes during changeovers.
- Validate product label accuracy and weight specifications.
- Monitor individual performance, provide guidance as needed, and act as a trainer.
- Assign tasks to team members, maximizing the use of all available resources.
- Act as supervisor's backup and assist with daily operational responsibilities.
- Complete and submit all necessary shift reports and documentation.
- Assume responsibility for team performance and overall line productivity.
- Provide consistent performance feedback to team members and suggest disciplinary actions or improvements when necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a line lead role within food industry is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.

This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our production line, contributing directly to our commitment to delivering high-quality food products safely and efficiently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
