**SUMMARY**:Language Assessment Training and Support (LATS) provides language assessment training, meetings, form facilitation, and assessment platform support to language assessors and assessment centers in Canada. Reporting to the Project Manager, the administrative assistant will provide courteous and timely support services to the project with excellent administrative skills, strong sense of ownership, and effective communication. The role requires flexibility, problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Facilitate access to online assessment forms, other documents and service-specific internet site
- Prepare training materials (kits, binders, etc.) and equipment for assessor training and other meetings
- Assist with monitoring registrations on the CLBPA training site
- Co-facilitate online certification sessions with assessor groups
- Promptly respond to user inquiries on OSA Help Desk
- Provide back-up support for CLBPA Help Desk
- Assist in monitoring CLBPA Discussion Forum on the training site
- Keep track of contact information in assessor database
- Moderate online meetings and workshops
- Assist in preparation for Ontario LAC Administrators’ Meeting and Assessors’ Workshops, and attend events
- Support team members with creation of training videos, as needed
- Prepare documents, reports, correspondence and minutes
- Undertake other duties assigned by Project Manager, as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum Grade 12 Education required, post-secondary education is preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in an administrative capacity
- Oral and written fluency in English required
- Ability to provide technical support for online meeting platforms such as Zoom and Teams
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), internet research and databases
- Familiarity with online learning and CMS
- Experience video recording live training videos an asset
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Customer-service oriented and able to use good judgement
- Detail-oriented with capacity to see broader project objectives
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and able to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to work a flexible schedule depending on project needs

This position is eligible for hybrid work status.
