**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. As an IT Field Technician or Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

**Duties**:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients in the field
- Communicate professionally, follow SOPs, and promptly transmit job documentation.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, server hardware, POS/kiosk hardware, printer hardware and networking equipment from various vendors.
- Resolving general IT issues related to jobs.
- Conduct system upgrades and updates as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users as needed.
- The technician requires their own vehicle, with insurance, and must have a driver's license.
- Must have prior PC/laptop/server/POS/kiosk repair-related IT experience, minimum 3 years.

**Skills**:

- Strong technical skills with experience in software troubleshooting and hardware installation
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with MacOS, Linux, and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of LAN and network connectivity troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- _Asset_ certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certifications, Cisco Certifications.
- Be able to pass a background check. Legally be allowed to work in Canada.

We offer competitive compensation based on experience, and travel pay

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
