As the first BA in our department, you'll help establish a structured approach to business analysis that fits Zaber's unique culture of autonomy and collaboration.

Working with a wide variety of leaders and teams across the company, you'll play a key role in connecting business needs with technical solutions—ensuring that development efforts are aligned with Zaber's broader business goals, and improving the lives of employees along the way.

**As a Business Analyst, you will**:

- **Define and establish** the business analysis function within the internal software development team, ensuring that processes support both technical and business objectives.
- **Gather and refine**requirements with stakeholders, translating business needs into clear technical specifications aligned with company priorities.
- **Develop and document** workflows, user stories, and business requirements to ensure alignment and consistency across projects.
- **Guide our transition** to a structured business analysis process, ensuring smooth adoption while continuously refining practices as the company evolves.

**You're the ideal Business Analyst if you have**:

- Experience in a business analysis role where you've played a hands-on role in defining processes and collaborating closely with a software development team.
- A track record of introducing or improving business analysis practices in a way that is effective, practical, and aligned with how a company operates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to bring teams and stakeholders together to clarify needs, expectations, and priorities.
- The ability to work in an evolving environment where some structures and processes are still being established.
- A problem-solving mindset, able to anticipate challenges and adapt as business needs change.

**Business Analyst Wage**:

- The starting wage for the role is $40 - $64/hour depending on experience.
