Grace Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing patient care at the Grace Hospital through the funding of vital equipment and programs.
**Overview**
Reporting to the Executive Director and Manager, the Communications & Events Coordinator provides support in a variety of communication and event activities at the Grace Hospital Foundation and Grace Hospital.
**Responsibilities**
**Communications**
- Design, produce, and evaluate news releases, annual reports, newsletters, advertisements, audio-visual presentations, event materials, and electronic materials for the Foundation and the Hospital
- Develop engaging content across a wide range of digital platforms
- Manage and update the Grace Hospital intranet, website, and social media platforms
- Manage and update the Foundation website and social media platforms
- Liaise with contracted professionals that support communications
- Research, develop, and execute marketing strategies
- Create and maintain digital content calendars and timelines
- Report on metrics for social media platforms and google analytics
**Events**
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward Gift in Kind donors
- Coordinate, promote, and execute fundraising, promotional, staff, donor or third-party events for the Foundation and Hospital
- Package prizes and set them up on the Givergy platform
- Liaise with contracted professionals that support events
- Analyze current events and recommend plans for change
**Qualifications**
- University degree or post-secondary diploma in a relevant discipline, preferably Creative Communications
- 1-2 years relevant experience in communications, fundraising, and event planning
- Excellent computer/graphic design skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud products
- Experience with various social media platforms and website management (WordPress)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and dependability
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
- Capacity to multi-task and prioritize
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well both independently and cooperatively
- High degree of professionalism and sensitivity to confidential information
**What We Offer**
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, occasional evening and weekend work related to meetings and events
Vacation Leave: 15 days annually
Sick Leave: 15 days annually
Statutory Holidays: 13 days annually
Time Off In lieu of Overtime: 11 days annually
