**Job Description**:
FURNITURE COORDINATOR
- The Furniture Coordinator’s primary role is to assist the Director of Operations with a variety of tasks pertaining to furniture donations, furniture requests, inventory management, route planning, daily delivery and pick up scheduling, and the on-line furniture store.

Reporting
- You will report to the Director of Operations for information regarding your schedule, your daily task assignment, your job performance and any issues pertaining to them.

Duties
- Responding to inquires pertaining to the acceptance and pick up of appropriate furniture donations
- Receive dropped off furniture donations
- Schedule the pick-up of furniture donations and the delivery of furniture
- Schedule the drivers and driver assistants to facilitate the efficient pick-up and delivery routing of items for and from Parker Street
- Maintain furniture records and donor information
- Prepare month end reports
- Provide administrative help when needed
- Supply the Communications Department with furniture and store related information
- Oversee the operation of an on-line furniture store
- Other duties as may be requested

Skills required
- Organized, adaptable, detail oriented
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work with confidential information discretely
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in PantrySoft, Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills and phone presence

Shift Requirement
- Approximately 40 scheduled hours per week
- Suggested shift, 8:00 - 4:00, M - F

July 1, 2020

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
