**Primary Job Functions**
- Systems testing and troubleshooting; service resolution through phone and web support, as well as on-site service calls
- Preparation of materials and devices for installation; assembling and loading equipment racks
- Attaching mounting brackets and audio-visual equipment to building structures
- Installation and termination of low voltage cables
- Van operation - load/unload equipment & drive in a safe manner
- Assisting with preparation, setup, and teardown of rental equipment
- Inside sales support, handling shipping/receiving orders, managing inventory
- Other related duties as required

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Familiarity with A/V installation (experience and/or education)
- Demonstrated understanding of audio-visual theory, equipment and tools
- IT experience/skills/education; ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- VISIO, CTS, CEDIA, or other industry-related courses or experience an asset
- Knowledge of 70 volt systems an asset
- Experience with soldering and cable termination an asset
- Ability to interpret system signal flow drawings and structural blueprints an asset

**Essential Skills and Abilities**
- Commitment to providing exceptional service; ability to solve problems and ensure client satisfaction
- Independent; able to work with limited supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Decision making/critical thinking skills; attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic computer programs (Google/Microsoft Suites); knowledge of Zoho One an asset
- Motivated, proactive and a self-starter
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations
- Flexible and open to feedback

**Other Requirements**
- Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License with a clean Driver's Abstract
- Criminal Record Check
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

- Bonus pay
