Warehousing & Audio/visual Manager

We are hiring a **Warehousing & Audio/Visual Manager** responsible for ensuring the success of our warehouse operations. The primary function is coordinating and managing the technical prep and deprep of our equipment while collaborating with the Operations Department with thorough & detailed preparation and information.

Briere Production Group offers Rentals, Technical Management & Transportation for Tours, Concerts, Festivals and Events across Canada and the USA. Originally established as an Audio House in 1996, Briere Production Group (BPG) has since evolved into a full production company to offer complete Audio, Lighting, Video, Transportation, Staging and Backline solutions throughout North America.
**JOB SUMMARY**: Oversees all warehouse operations, directs all warehouse work, Supervises warehouse staff, and assigns work and duties as needed. Oversees all shop personnel including efficiency, job duties work performance, and attendance of shop employees. Ensures BPG policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Staff Management
- Participate in all Operations Meetings.
- Work with all BPG staff to create a family atmosphere.
- Develop weekly schedules for the shop hands and show prep techs.
- Work with Operations to identify, train and manage warehouse personnel
- Manage the daily sign in and sign out all hands in the shop.
- Participate in Performance reviews with the Operations Manager of Shop leads.
- In conjunction with Operations schedule appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelines.
- Train staff and monitor their performance and progress daily. Track attendance and time off requests in conjunction with the Operations Manager to ensure there are no conflicts. Monitor and adjust work schedules of staff as needed.
- Warehouse
- Manage all show preparations and truck packs in partnership with Production Manager and show techs.
- Defines the operational flow, facility layout, space, staff, concept of operations, and improvements in productivity, accuracy, and capacity.
- Forecast equipment shortages with Director of Operations and Sr. Production Manager
- Maintain warehouse inventory, its whereabouts and condition
- Oversee equipment is returned in full and in good condition
- Ensure orders received from Operations are filled completely
- Communicate with Operations regarding rental bookings
- Oversee and perform maintenance on inventory
- Order parts, supplies, equipment etc
- Oversee maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, video systems advising on repairs when needed.
- Responsible for safe and consistent operation of all equipment
- Recommend measures to improve methods and processes, work performance and quality control
- Ensure timely, daily opening and closing of the warehouse.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept in a neat and organized condition at the end of each day
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Trucking
- Responsible for fleet maintenance and appearance (Clean and working).
- Shipping / Receiving
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Prepare items for shipment
- Establish and maintain transportation agents
- Assure timely shipping of orders
- Provide shipping quotes for Operations
- Administrative
- Maintain required administrative organization and record keeping
- Create and maintain inventory and maintenance log

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- An understanding of audio, lighting, video and staging in concert, theatre, television, and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of audio systems such as d&b, audiotechnik
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- The ability to work well under pressure and the ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to use common sense and problem solve, Detail oriented.
- Experience in Materials Repair Operations of equipment and fleet requirements.

**PRE-REQUISITES**
- 3+ Years experience in Warehousing
- Forklift Certification
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Able to lift 50+ Pounds
- 3+ Years experience making minor repairs on electronic audio, lighting, video and rigging equipment.
