Goldenlink Academy is a private coeducational day school for Grades 9 through 12 located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Government inspected for quality and merit, Goldenlink Academy proudly offers accredited high school courses and grants Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Physics Tutor to join our team and inspire students in grades 7 to 12 in Ontario.

As a Physics Tutor in Goldenlink Academy, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop a deep understanding of physics concepts and excel academically. You will work closely with small groups of students or individuals to provide personalized instruction tailored to their learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting engaging and interactive tutoring sessions focused on G7-G12 physics curriculum.
- Assessing students' learning needs and developing customized lesson plans to address their strengths and weaknesses.
- Explaining complex physics concepts in a clear and concise manner, using various teaching methods and instructional materials.
- Facilitating hands-on activities, experiments, and demonstrations to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of physics principles.
- Monitoring students' progress, providing feedback, and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure their academic success.
- Collaborating with parents, teachers, and program coordinators to support students' learning goals and academic achievement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Education, or a related field.
- Ontario Teaching Certification (an asset).
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring physics to students in grades 7 to 12.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum expectations for physics at the secondary level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and create a positive learning environment.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
