**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with outstanding administrative, organizational skills and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment.
This role is all about combining your passion for recruitment and skill for finding the right skill set for the right position at the right time. Under the direction of Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the HR Business Partners and internal stakeholders to bring top talent to Talize Inc.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support the Talent Acquisition Manager in managing high volume full-cycle recruitment for assigned client groups.
- Responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment and selection process including conducting intake meetings to discuss the job requirements, job postings, phone screening, booking interviews for the hiring managers.
- Effectively handle 15-20 job requisitions at a time for entry level to mid-senior level.
- “Be Creative” and find new avenues and sourcing methods to attract top talent from the external job market including LinkedIn, Indeed and other social media platforms.
- Build strong relationships with various Educational Institutions including Colleges, Universities and Employment Ontario Agencies to promote visibility and branding of Talize. Coordinate and participate job fairs
- Compile open positions on weekly basis and sending out list openings document to store managers
- Provide support in updating and managing Recruitment Tracker for HR Head and Senior Management.
- Work with HR Coordinator to create monthly KPI reports.
**Required Skills and Educational Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related (essential).
- Sound knowledge and understanding of recruitment and selection process with experience in high volume retail recruitment (essential).
- Ability to travel to head office once a week and travelling to store locations on need basis.
- 1-2 year of experience working as HR Assistant, Recruitment, or TA Coordinator.
- Fair understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills including hands-on experience with ATS and HRIS systems. Experience with Dayforce is a strong asset.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent relationship building skills. Collaborative approach and a strong team player
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
- Retail Recruitment experience considered as asset
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
