**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Manage pain management strategies for patients experiencing acute or chronic pain.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation and data collection.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Participate in research initiatives to enhance patient care practices and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and follow-up on care plans.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred; familiarity with hospital protocols is a plus.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, particularly Epic or Cerner.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of pain management techniques and home care practices is advantageous.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
