Sales Manager

**SUMMARY**
Responsible for leading the Sales department with business development strategies and account management growth. Supervise the retail sales team.
**RESPONSIBILITES**
- Participate in establishing retail sales strategies
- Responsible for the growth of key retail accounts including Dollar stores accounts
- Target new retail key accounts through business development strategies
- Increase sales and company exposure in each market place
- Identify new products opportunities and advise the product development department
- Work closely with sales & marketing on product categories
- Plan, advertise and execute seasonal promotions
- Plan, implement and lead bi-annual sales meetings
- Support and provide leadership to all sales agents and retail sales representatives
- Manage all aspects of human resources for the retail sales, including performance appraisal, discipline, etc., as per company procedures
- Meet regularly with agents, retail sales representative and clients
- Assist retail sales representative with price lists, budgets and general sales support
- Maintain retail price lists
- Participate to trade shows
**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS**
- DEC or Bachelor degree in administration or other related certifications
- **5 to 10 years in a sale environment**:
- **3 to 5 years in a similar position** with same level of responsibilities
- French is an asset
- Former record of success in a Retail sales environment
- Established relationships with clients within the Retail Industry an asset
- Ability to manage priorities
- Excellent communicator and strong negotiation skills
- Intermediate level with Microsoft Office
- Available to travel regularly
