We’re looking for an investigative and artistic individual with social responsibility and openness to become our **Youth Settlement Program Assistant and Interpretation Coordinator **to provide support to newcomers and internal programs of the organization in translation and interpretation services.

**A little about what you bring to Care for Newcomers**:

- Provide critical administrative support as needed for active maintenance of the client services database, including entering data, mining for information, analysis of records, etc..
- In liaison with the Youth Settlement Manager, execute client file audits to secure consistency of records, services and reporting.
- In coordination with both the Youth Settlement team and the Translation and Interpreter Coordinator, facilitate translation and interpretation services for all school related requests, including parent teacher interviews
- In coordination with the Translation and Interpretation Coordinator, process client requests for interpretations with use of appropriate volunteers and assist in the facilitation of translations as required, including proofreading of translations to ensure accuracy.
- Support volunteer recruitment and appreciation events to maintain good personal relationships with the program volunteers.
- Ensure accurate administration and reporting of client information and services provided.
- Provide support and coverage for reception as required .

**A little about what you’ll do**:

- In coordination with the Community Engagement Manager, the Youth Settlement Manager and with the Translation and Interpretation Coordinator, process client requests for translations and interpretations with use of appropriate volunteers and ensure accuracy through proofreading of translations.
- Support volunteer recruitment and appreciation events to maintain good personal relationships with the program volunteers.
- Ensure accurate administration and reporting of client information and services provided.
- Design and execute necessary training for program volunteers.
