Full Time Youth Worker - Overnight Awake

**Details**:
Starting Wage: To be determined based on experience and salary grid.

This position does require overnights Monday to Friday, and some weekends.

**Specific Skills**: Obtain information and prepare reports or case histories, Appraise client’s needs or eligibility for specific services, Assess client’s relevant skill strengths and development needs, Provide suicide and crisis intervention, Resolve conflict situations, Supervise activities of clients, Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients, Maintain program statistics of evaluation and research.

**Additional Skills**: Administrative and Office Activities, Research techniques, Housekeeping activities, Food Preparation, Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

**Requirements**:
Completion of High School, Post Secondary diploma or degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, or a related field of Human Services.

**Completed CPR and Standard First Aide Certificate**, Current Criminal Record check (Abstract) and Child Welfare Intervention Check. Current Certificate in or to obtain during Probationary Period; Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Aboriginal Awareness Training, Cultural Diversity Training, and Medication Administration Training.
