**About us**
Waupoos Family Farm is a Catholic/Christian charity whose mission is to provide vacation opportunities for families living under the low-income cut-off who would otherwise not have the opportunity.
Set on 200 acres of beautiful farmland just south of the Ottawa airport, Waupoos Family Farm’s motto is “Pray, Work, Play”. Summer staff will have the opportunity to inspire and work closely with the low-income families who vacation at Waupoos.
- Highly organized
- Comfortable speaking to groups
- Disciplined and task-oriented
- Able to both think independently and take initiative as well as be able to take direction.
- Welcoming and interacting with guests.
**Application Deadline: March 21, 2024**
- Open to youth 16 -30 years of age; must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (funding requirement)
- Current certification in First Aid, CPR-C & AED is required (or willing to obtain before starting employment)
- **Interested applicants will need to submit their resume and a cover letter outlining how they meet the job requirements.**:
- Bilingualism is considered an asset (English, French, etc.)
- Need own transportation; Waupoos is located 3km from the new Bowesville Train station
- Approximately 35 hours/week for 8-10 consecutive weeks; June 23 - August 30, 2025, Actual dates/hours are dependent upon funding.
- Workweek: Tuesday to Saturday
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 8-9 weeks
Pay: $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
