**About This Opportunity**

Are you seeking a unique position that combines guaranteed hours with flexibility and variety? We are seeking an enthusiastic **Summer Day Camp Counsellor** to join our team in the **Children’s Respite program** at the **Leitrim Campus for July and August** This is an exciting chance to work with children with physical disabilities and medical complexities in a structured yet fun camp-like environment.

Each week will feature a different theme and activities, allowing staff to work with a diverse group of children and help them enjoy new experiences throughout the summer. This role is perfect for those seeking a fun, fast-paced position where they can bring energy and creativity while making a meaningful impact on children’s lives

- Lead and participate in daily camp activities, games, and themed programming
- Assist with feeding, personal care, and mobility support to ensure safety and engagement
- Encourage campers to explore new activities and build social connections
- Work alongside a team of passionate and dedicated staff
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment for all children

**Qualifications & Requirements**

**We invite applicants who have experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or complex medical needs to apply.**
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- First Aid/CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training certifications.
- Developmental Service Workers Diploma strongly preferred
- Experience in the developmental services sector and/or a specialized care setting is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $24.28-$26.83 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
