**Function Summary**
Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice-President (VP), Corporate Services & Redevelopment is accountable for achieving both corporate and program objectives of the organization. The incumbent is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership in the planning, development and implementation of activities pertaining to finance, budget administrative procedures and systems, support staff and ancillary services, including Financial Services, Marketed Services & Business Development, Nutrition & Food Services, Procurement and Logistics, Emergency Preparedness, Security and Environmental Services and Telecommunications, Information Systems, Facilities Management, Redevelopment and Space Planning.

As a key member of the Senior Strategy Team, the incumbent will ensure the efficient and effective management of the resources and systems essential to the administration of the Bruyère Continuing Care in accordance with evolving corporate objectives. The incumbent will work closely with Ontario Health East, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Long Term Care, as well as affiliated organizations (Bruyère Foundation, Bruyère Research Institute, Champlain Health Supply Services, The Ottawa Hospital Food Association, and Hospital Linen Services).

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce and / or Administration or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training;
- Minimum 10 years of executive/senior financial management experience in a major health care setting, preferably in an academic health organization, with a proven record of achieving objectives;
- Professional accounting designation - Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant, Certified General Accountant, or Certified Management Accountant).
