**Positions Available**:
We are hiring for full-time, part-time, and split shift positions for all levels of Early Childhood Educators (ECE Level 1, 2, or 3). Whether you're just starting or looking to further develop your expertise, there’s a place for you at Child’s Way.

**A Day in the Life as an ECE**:
As an Early Childhood Educator at Child’s Way, you will work closely with fellow educators and families to create a nurturing, home-like environment for the children in your care. Each day will involve a combination of creativity, engagement, and thoughtful care to support children’s development.

Some of your daily duties include, but are not limited to:

- Creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all children.
- Managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the classroom, ensuring children are well cared for.
- Being responsible for the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, physical, social, and intellectual needs.
- Implementing lesson plans and curriculum on a weekly basis that cover all areas of child development.
- Building strong, professional relationships with families to provide consistent and quality care for each child.
- Drive the school van to transport children by adhering to all school schedules. A Class 4 driver’s license is required for this responsibility.

**Core Qualifications**:

- **Alberta ECE Certification** (Level 1, 2, or 3).
- **Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check**, taken within the last 6 months.
- **First Aid & CPR Training** from a recognized and AHS-approved provider.
- **Class 4 Driving License**

**Required Skills**:

- **Classroom management**: Ability to guide children through their daily routines and manage the dynamics of group activities.
- **Cultural awareness and inclusivity**: Understanding and embracing diversity, ensuring every child feels valued and respected.
- **Strong communication skills**: Ability to convey information effectively to children, parents, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
- **Collaboration skills**: Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, growth-minded work culture
- **Confidentiality**: Ability to handle sensitive information about children, parents, and team members with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- **Problem-solving and leadership abilities**: Demonstrating initiative and proactive thinking in the classroom and when addressing issues.
- **Time management and organizational skills**: Effectively balancing classroom responsibilities and ensuring smooth daily operations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50-$19.13 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
