We have an exciting opportunity for a Inside Sales Representative to join our Customer Service Team in Langley, BC. - Do you want to be part of a passionate, innovative team? Are you interested in growing your career with British Columbia’s only Aluminum Extruder?_ If the answer is YES, then read on This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth. **Shift Schedule**: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: - Work with all departments to ensure we are meeting customer expectations and providing value to our customers - Ensure smooth sales, order, and return process by effective communication internally and with customers. - Quotation follow up, understanding our offering vs competitors to obtain purchase order - Travel to meet with customers to understand their business and their aluminum requirements. - Day to day communication with customers to provide technical information, answer questions and solve issues - Track the process for large new accounts or new product lines for existing accounts. - Assisting with quotations, understanding pricing, drafting process and project deadlines. - Maintain updated knowledge of all technical terms, company products, services, and capabilities. - Calculate costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. - Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely completion of projects and communicate deadlines - Manage customer projects forecasting, new products and customer requirements, daily, monthly, and yearly. - Provide project updates on different product stages. - Resolve any discrepancies. - Other duties, as assigned. **Knowledge/Experience**: - 5+ years of inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment - Previous aluminum extrusion experience an asset. - Project management experience is preferred. - Strong understanding of product, manufacturing, quote and order processes and customer service best practices. **Must Have Skills**: - Team player - Possess a positive "can do" attitude - Reliability - Multi-tasker and time-management skills - Intermediate computer skills - Flexibility and adaptability to work in a timely manner - Exceptional customer service skills - Excellent organizational skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail - Strong oral and written skills for presentations and report writing - Strong analytical and mathematical skills - Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise **What We Offer**: - Extended health benefits - Dental coverage - Vision coverage - Life Insurance - RRSP matching - Employee Appreciation Events Check out all our current job listings at Apex Careers. **Equity Statement**: Consistent with our commitments to equity and diversity, we actively recruit from all designated groups.
