AWFI is a custom millwork and manufacturing firm specializing in commercial projects that has been operating in the Toronto area for over 25 years. AWFI creates a variety of high-end custom millwork, casework, architectural woodwork, surface cladding and themed spaces for restaurants, hotels, casinos, entertainment facilities, condominiums, malls and many other public spaces.

**What you would be doing?**
- Assist the Foreman in planning and organizing daily production schedules utilizing our ERP System to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including, cabinetmakers, and other skilled workers.
- Train new employees on woodworking techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with the Foreman to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any hazards or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels, and optimizing inventory turnover.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
- Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman or management team.

**What is needed from you?**
- 10-15 years of experience in the millwork industry, with a strong background in woodworking techniques and processes.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate production teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications in woodworking or carpentry are a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
