Rebar Estimator

We have contributed to tons of projects, literally Our expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including institutional, industrial, civil engineering, commercial, and residential.

We are looking for a Rebar Estimator to join our team in Dartmouth, NS.

Reporting to the **General Manager**, the **Rebar** **Estimator,** based in **Dartmouth, NS** will mainly be responsible for estimating rebars (takeoff) for multiple construction projects demands.

**Role and responsabilities**:

- Oversee the acquisition of complete tender documents for takeoff purposes;
- Complete rebar takeoff and accurate estimate for pricing;
- Provide budget quantities & suggestions for a customer's proposed projects;
- Have a positive & helpful line of communication with the detailing departement;
- Participate and attend pre-tender award meetings, management meetings and staff meetings.

**Qualifications**
- College diploma in civil engineering, estimating or drafting;
- 3 to 5 years of estimating experience in construction;
- 2 to 3 years of experience estimating rebar projects;
- Ability to work on mutiple projects at the same time;
- Autonomy, creative, flexible;
- High level of organization;
- Very good communication skills;
