We are currently searching for a Manager, Operational Excellence for the Central Canada region._**

You will lead, manage and execute strategic Operational Excellence initiatives throughout the Central networks (Ontario) for all UAP divisions. You will develop and deploy a standardized strategy and plan for operational excellence in our DCs, Stores and Service Center operations.

With your team, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring and coaching frontline operational leaders and actively seek out continuous improvement opportunities using the Lean methodology while resolving ad hoc issues as they come along.

You will collaborate strategically with cross functional members to revamp and heighten executions of programs, projects, procedures, processes, etc. You will coordinate the review or implementation of norms and guidelines.

You will champion collaboration with your peers across Canada. You will be responsible to define, put in place and monitor performance metrics for DCs, Stores and Service Center operations.

You will be responsible to manage the analytics shared operation service center.

**_ Your responsibilities will be to:_**
- Implement a standardized strategy and plan for our operational excellence that is aligned with our business goals using the Lean methodology. (Including setting norms, guidelines, and the use of analytics). Conduct thorough analysis from the analytics to propose insight driven initiatives.
- Identify and/or investigate on-site ‘waste issues’ and recommend improvement initiatives as well as contribute to the problem solving of some operational issues. Recommend action plans for new or the improvement and adherence to guidelines.
- Create and manage continuous improvement programs and participate in all relevant committees.
- Overall leadership of the team (budget, recruitment, onboarding, coaching, etc.).
- Participate in DC & Store special operational projects when needed.

**Qualifications**:

To join our team, you need:_**
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years in operational excellence role (or equivalent)
- Extensive knowledge of Lean Methodology (certification)
- Experience in the planning and implementation of operational improvement and transformation initiatives
- Knowledge in data analytics
- Strong Excel, analytics systems knowledge, DC & Store Operations systems knowledge an asset
- Project Management experience an asset
