We are looking for a detailed, hardworking, enthusiastic individual that can work well on their own while also willing to help others. This person must be able to pay close attention to detail. The main job description is warehouse receiving.

ECS Cares is a specialty medical waste company offering a great team environment and workplace. We are a professional and actively growing company celebrating 55 years in business. As a growing business we have many products rotating in and out.

A criminal background check is required.

**Tasks**:

- Receive medical waste

This involves weighing multiple boxes or individual boxes, documenting with photos and recording all the details.
- Receive other waste related items

This involves weighing palleted material, drums, etc using pump carts and dollies and occasionally a fork lift.
- Packaging pallets with boxes based on waste type

This involves taking received items and grouping them on pallets, wrapping the pallet and weighing and recording the completed pallet.
- Being a team player

The above are the primary tasks however other roles and tasks may be required and take priority.
- Maintain a clean workplace after each task.

**Qualifications**:

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Common sense is a must
- Proven experience in the area (min 2 years). Forklift experience, use of pallet jacks, etc
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Problem identification and resolution skills.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution of tasks.
- Excellent communicator.

General Maintenance and Handyman skills would be an asset.

This position includes benefits, uniforms, PPE (except initial steel toe boots) and a respectful working environment.

Permanent Position: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

**Salary**: From $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

- Shipping & receiving: 2 years (preferred)
- warehouse: 1 year (required)
