This role is perfect for a self-motivated professional eager to identify and close new opportunities in a dynamic, high-growth market. **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Represent MDBiologix in a professional manner in accordance with the highest standards as would be reasonably expected of a professional sales agent in the medical device industry. - Support and manage business relationships with existing clients within territory to increase annual account revenue. - Identify and engage with new prospective clients using sources such as databases, publications, market analysis, trade shows, contacts, etc. - Support/lead negotiations with prospective clients. - Develop, maintain and deliver persuasive sales presentations/demos by researching literature and reviewing customer wants and needs. - Onboard new clients by establishing product procurement agreements and performing in-service training. - Discuss sales opportunities and activities with MDBiologix on a regular basis, including by providing sales reports and analyses for such periods as shall be required by MDBiologix. - Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. - Act as technical advisor for customers using the product for the first time or for new indications, walking them through proper operational technique and processing of solutions. - Keep customers informed with new developments in the field as they relate to best practice and product use. - Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. - Develop and maintain a current understanding of the external marketplace (e.g. conditions, trends and competitors) as well as internal capabilities and technologies. - Expected travel is >25% / month and will vary depending on the exact location of Account Executive relative to customer base. **ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Contribute to the implementation of marketing initiatives including providing market information, distributing materials and attending trade shows. - Provide insight into the development / acquisition of new products and markets which MDBiologix should consider. - Participate in weekly BD update meetings. - Other duties as assigned. **SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS** - Minimum BSc in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related field - Practical knowledge of life sciences and medical devices - Sales experience in related industry is highly desireable - Detail-oriented problem solver - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal relationship skills - This job profile provides an overview of the minimum requirements of the job and does not include all of the duties inherent, included or associated with the job or with the performance of the job.
