The Program Manager is responsible for formulating and executing a national strategy for Nisa Homes including strategic direction, organizational planning, efficiency, outreach, and expansion as well as financial planning and sustainability.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**ORGANIZATIONAL PLANNING AND STRATEGIC DIRECTION**
- Analyze and evaluate internal organizational and strategic plans to determine alignment with programs and goals
- Propose recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, and internal business improvements.
- Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes
- Develop the necessary systems, processes, and tools to better support the facilitation, collection, and sharing of knowledge that is generated by the programs.
- Ensure that key project outcomes and/or policy, advocacy, and legislation are evaluated and leveraged for maximum community and organizational impact.
- Work collaboratively with the senior management team to integrate cross-program activities and functions.
- Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement as well as program risks

**OUTREACH, EXPANSION AND DEVELOPMENT**
- Develop and implement an outreach strategy for the purpose of creating Nisa Homes brand awareness
- Manage a team of regional managers to conduct regional activities across Canada, this includes developing region-specific outreach strategies, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships
- Develop positive relationships with partners across Canada
- Maintain current knowledge of issues and resources related to Intimate Partner Violence
- Plan, develop, and conduct presentations, and workshops to increase awareness, community engagement, awareness, education and improve prevention models
- Facilitate community networking, attend meetings and workshops regularly
- Collaborate and communicate with other programs and external partners of the organization, and maintain a database of national resources and services

**FINANCIAL PLANNING AND SUSTAINABILITY**
- With the support of the Finance Manager, set a yearly budget for Nisa Homes, including city-specific budgets, and conduct regular budgeting checks and reviews
- Conduct monthly reporting for the finance department
- Participate in the mid-year and year-end financial review process
- Adjust strategy according to costs
- Develop a financial sustainability plan (short term and long term)
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies and plan in collaboration with the Marketing team
- With the support of the Fund Development team, research funding opportunities and develop a plan for accessing and securing grants, subsidies, sponsorship, donations and government funding
- Expand revenue-generating and fundraising activities to support existing programs and the growth of Nisa Homes, cultivate existing relationships and develop new funder relationships.
