Dead Frog Brewery is a craft brewery located in Langley, BC. We are dedicated to crafting high-quality, innovative beers that showcase the best of the Pacific Northwest by using as many as possible local ingredients.

We operate a 30hL Pacific Brewing Systems 2 vessel brewhouse that has seen a lot of love. It is a very hands on system with no automation. True craft brewing Our cellar consists of 5x60hL tanks, 5x90hL tanks, and 3x15hL tanks for small batches and test brews. All of our beer is unfiltered and unpasteurized.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant Brewer to join our team. This is a full-time position and a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career in the brewing industry. We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Operate the brew system and all necessary equipment to execute brewing and cellaring process from grain to the brite tank
- Adding extra ingredients such as fruit or dry hopping
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the brewery and all brewing equipment
- Monitor fermentation and gravity to ensure proper adherence to fermentation schedules
- Conduct routine lab analysis and quality checks on all beer produced
- Ensure the brewery complies with all health and safety regulations

Experience & Skills:

- Brewing education preferred, no previous brewing job required, we will train on site. If you do not have any formal brewing education previous experience is a huge asset
- Passion for all things craft beer
- Knowledge of beer styles, brewing ingredients, and brewing processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift 25kgs repetitively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- A desire to learn and grow in the brewing industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
