COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Farm Country Brewing is an independently owned brewery located in Langley, BC. We specialize great tasting beers. We are seeking a motivated, passionate and talented individual to join our packaging team. Reporting to the Head Brewer, this role is accountable for daily cellaring tasks around the brewery.

CELLAR PERSON: RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report to the Head brewer
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Transferring beer from fermenter to brite tank
- Carbonating beer and performing QA/QC checks
- Cleaning fermenters and brite tanks using CIP procedures
- Harvesting yeast
- Dry hopping beer
- Operating a forklift
- Other cleaning tasks as needed from time to time,
- Minor assembly and maintenance of brewery equipment,
- Other duties as required, from time to time.

PACKAGING ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in packaging of beer-canning and kegging,
- Washing and filling kegs,
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment,
- Operation and maintenance of packaging equipment, including operation of the canning line as necessary,
- Operating a forklift,
- Additional cleaning as required from time to time,
- Organizing warehouse and cooler space,
- Adherence to packaging and storage SOPs,
- Minor assembly and maintenance of brewery equipment,
- Other duties as required, from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 Year of brewery experience, preferably,
- Keen attention to detail,
- A passion for great beer,
- Physically able to maneuver 70 kg kegs,
- Physically able to stand for the duration of a shift,
- Physically able to lift 70lbs,
- Ability to work a flexible schedule,
- WHMIS certification,
- Fork-Lift Operator license.
