**Role Description**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist with review and evaluating of cost estimates
- Compiling tender documents and bid forms
- Maintaining the tendering process
- Eager to learn and understand the scope of work to bid
- Assist with preparation of cost analysis
- Contact and maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors
- Communication with engineers, owners, architects, and subcontractors as needed
- Assisting with management and coordination of construction projects and preparing construction progress schedules may also be required
- Must represent Vestacon in a professional manner at all times
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Architectural Science, Civil Engineering, Applied Science, Accounting or other construction-related field an asset
- Ability to read construction drawings is required
- Strong understanding of Construction process is an asset
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Ability to multi-task, work well independently and meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, stress and time management skills, as well as excellent team-building/ leadership skills.
- Full (G) driver’s license required
