About the Role
Are you ready to bridge the gap between technical expertise and seamless project execution? As a Construction Project Coordinator with Egis Canada, you’ll play a central role in driving operational efficiency across some of Ontario’s most impactful infrastructure projects. This site-based role offers the unique opportunity to blend administrative expertise with hands-on project insights, setting the foundation for future leadership roles in contract administration and project management.
You’ll manage schedules, ensure quality control, and liaise with stakeholders to keep projects on track while gaining invaluable insights into the complexities of construction coordination. This role provides a launchpad for ambitious professionals looking to grow their careers in the fast-paced world of infrastructure development.
This is a site-based role and requires experience in Road and Bridge Construction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate administrative and operational aspects of construction projects, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, progress tracking systems, and payment verification records.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure timely delivery of submittals and reports to clients.
- Support quality control programs, ensuring that all construction activities adhere to standards and specifications.
- Represent Egis Canada in stakeholder meetings, fostering strong relationships to drive project success.
- Prepare contracts and assist in negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to agreements.
- Collaborate with field staff and senior management to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or College diploma in Civil Engineering;
- Experience in engineering and construction inspection work;
- Experience in engineering and construction coordination/administration;
- Excellent communication, problem solving and attention to detail skills;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance
