The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for performing analysis, building models, and writing reports to support financial, operational, and strategic business decision-making. Given the rapid and exciting sales growth at Info-Tech Research Group, there is a focus on ensuring that business decisions accelerate sales growth while protecting profit margins.

This is a project-based role that requires critical thinking and the ability to juggle shifting priorities. The role requires you to take on large, complex, and ambiguous financial and business problems, perform hypothesis-driven analyses to provide insights and potential solutions, and finally to provide actionable recommendations.

We’re looking for a well-rounded individual with sound judgement, financial analysis and project management skills, and the ability to lead meetings and collaborate with executives across the entire company. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be evaluated on their ability to execute projects effectively and improve processes.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and track key performance indicators and financial metrics to measure the success of business initiatives.
- Work with department leaders to determine their performance reporting metrics to be applied consistently across the organization.
- Design and deploy improvements to the budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting systems.
- Build out reporting and costing systems, with an emphasis on identifying insights and actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Perform trend analysis to assist in data-driven financial planning.
- Identify areas for improvement within the organization's financial workflows, systems, and policies.
- Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities and best practices.
- Provide financial analysis, modelling and insights to support the company's strategic decision-making process.
- Collaborate with internal and external technical resources to deploy financial software or systems.

**Education & Experience**
- University degree in accounting and/or business
- CPA designation required
- 5-10 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate finance

**Skills**
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience analyzing large datasets and providing recommendations
- Strong communication written and oral communication skills
- Skilled in Microsoft office Suite's PowerPoint, Excel & Word
- Experience with Power BI is an asset

**Education**: Required
- Bachelor's degree or better in Accounting or related field
