Sr. Analyst, Optimization and Simulation page is loaded## Sr. Analyst, Optimization and Simulationlocations: Toronto, Ontario: Montreal, Quebec: London, Ontariotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R23278Key Responsibilities* Design, develop, and implement optimization models to support strategic decision-making across business units.* Build and maintain simulation models (e.g., discrete-event, Monte Carlo) to evaluate system performance under various scenarios.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.* Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.* Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of changes in key variables.* Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.* Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies in optimization and simulation.Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.* 3+ years of experience in optimization modeling, simulation analysis, or advanced analytics.* Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, AnyLogic, Arena, Gurobi, CPLEX, or similar.* Strong understanding of linear programming, mixed-integer programming, stochastic modeling, and other optimization techniques.* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.* Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)* Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their integration with simulation models.* Knowledge of Digital Twin technologies.***This role is now vacant*****WE ARE PROUD TO BE RECOGNIZED AS** Great Place to Work Canada for 2025 and Montreal's Top Employers 2025 by Canada’s Top 100 Employers**Learn more:****Follow us on LinkedIn:**If you have a preferred language for communication, please kindly inform us whether you prefer French or English on your application.*Fairstone is an equal opportunity employer.
