The Analyst will work alongside, and provide commercial mortgage transaction support to, the Commercial Origination Team in CMLS’ London, Ontario office. The Analyst will be responsible for the underwriting, analysis, credit approval support and funding support required by the Commercial Origination Team to ensure their clients’ financing objectives are achieved.

As an Analyst on our team, you will provide timely and proactive support including:

- **Detailed Due Diligence and Analysis of Financing Opportunities, including**:

- Review of third-party reports (including but not limited to appraisals, environmental site assessments and market studies) to ensure clarity/accuracy.
- Review and summary of property financial performance documents including rent rolls, financial statements, etc.
- Creating sets of forward-looking financial projections using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist in the underwriting of new opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive narrative and analytical credit submissions for large and complex loans;
- **Assisting with satisfying credit approval and pre-funding conditions, including**:

- Review, organization, and dissemination of information.
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders to procure items and/or information needed to meet credit approval and funding deadlines.
- Tracking of outstanding information with persistent follow up with appropriate parties to provide deliverables to lenders and related parties.
- **Other duties as assigned**

- Strong financial/mathematical analysis capabilities.
- Demonstrated interest in real estate and/or finance with a desire to learn as much as possible about the real estate finance sector.
- An Undergraduate Degree with a focus in a Finance-related discipline.
