Calgary Academy is seeking a Marketing Lead for a 12-month maternity leave coverage opportunity, beginning mid-April 2025.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives that elevate our brand, foster engagement, and amplify the shared vision of Headwater Learning Group (HLG)—which includes Calgary Academy Society, Headwater Learning Foundation, and Headwater Learning Solutions.

Reporting to the Director of Communications, you’ll collaborate across departments, bring creativity to your strategies, and exemplify our REACH principles: Respect, Enthusiasm, Altruism, Commitment, and Honesty. Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Execution_
- Develop and execute marketing strategies based on research and annual promotional plans for all three entities.
- Monitor marketing programs, analyze data, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
- Manage and develop the annual marketing budget, tracking advertising spending and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Communications Department to create compelling content for print, digital, and social media.
- Oversee advertising vendor relationships, including quote management and invoice reconciliation.
- Provide marketing analytics reports, sharing insights on social media, campaign performance, and emerging trends.
- Content Development & Brand Management_
- Create and update content for admissions materials, print publications, and digital platforms.
- Maintain and enhance external websites, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand consistency standards.
- Support media relations, including writing and distributing press releases, coordinating interviews, and analyzing media impact.
- Social Media & Digital Engagement_
- Lead social media strategy and content creation, working collaboratively with the Creative Designer & Web Lead.
- Develop and oversee an annual content calendar to maintain consistent messaging and audience engagement.
- Manage content posting for HLS and HLF social channels, aligning with organizational goals.
- Engage with social media communities, responding to inquiries and comments, while providing excellent customer service.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Project Management_
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams on marketing initiatives for programs, events, and special projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they align with timelines, budgets, and objectives.
- Support key stakeholder engagement events, such as school tours, family welcome events, and community initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends to enhance marketing strategies and brand positioning.

**Qualifications**:

- A post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand management, and/or digital marketing.
