**Who we are**: Just Wright Renovation Experts Inc. is a small, locally owned and operated full service remodeling company servicing the greater Victoria area (Saanich and surrounding area). We offer full interior and exterior design, remodeling, and project management services. Our carpentry crew and trusted sub-trades take great pride in providing clients with a professional, trouble-free, and quality renovation experience from start to finish. **Our vision**: We are currently growing our team of renovation experts with the intention to maintain a small-business feel as we grow to capacity. Our current vision is to maintain 2 or 3 carpentry work crews, two manager positions, and one administrative position. Currently, our team consists of three full-time employees (one work crew and one Manager).

**The position**:We are looking for a hardworking, motivated Apprentice Carpenter who has the desire and aspirations to become a great Carpenter. This position reports to the Project Manager.

In this role, you will assist the construction team in performing a variety of duties relating to custom cabinetry assembly, design, and remodeling with a focus on customer service. You will be eager to learn, grow, and support the team. You will take direction from the Carpenters and Lead Carpenters on the job. We will create a positive learning experience for you and support you through your career development as well as providing other benefits.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- 2 yrs construction industry experience
- 2 yrs residential renovation experience
- Exceptional communication with crew, clients and project managers
- Able to problem solve
- Strong commitment to personal and crew safety
- Exceptional eye for detail
- Professional (friendly, approachable, organized)
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Own hand tools
- Proficient in computers and project management software

**Preferred Skills & Qualifications**:

- First Aid certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
