The Director is responsible for all aspects related to the proper functioning of the administration and human resources of the centre, which include payroll, scheduling, etc.
The director is responsible for developing and maintaining a quality program that meets the needs of the overall development of children.
The director must have excellent communication skills in dealing with parents and employees of the Center.
The director is responsible for the safety of children in their environment.
The director is always looking for new activities and frequently updates their knowledge through readings, webinars, trainings, etc.
Through these learning opportunities, they will improve her skills in all aspects of her job including, personnel management, administrative tasks, programming, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Early Childhood Education working experience with a Certificate of completion of education in Early Childhood Education Level 3.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Supervisory role with strong leadership skills.
Fluently bilingual in French & English, written & oral.
French being the primary language of communication.
Current CPR & 1st Aid Certificate
Child Abuse registry check
Criminal record check
*2% bonus on each pay
*benefits after 3 months of employment
**Salary**: Up to $34.53 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
