Inventory Control Analyst

We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Control Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Systems & Planning, you will be responsible for managing and controlling inventory and developing process improvements to achieve and maintain targeted levels of inventory accuracy.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Research and reconcile daily inventory variances.
- Reconcile the daily, monthly, and annual inventory as required by customer
- Identify and communicate common control opportunities to various warehouses and all team members to ensure action plans are obtainable, implemented and sustained.
- Analyze and identify areas where Internal Controls can be improved or implemented at an appropriate cost/benefit relationship.
- Become Subject Matter Expert on Customer inventory Internal Controls in accordance with the Service Level agreements (SLA) and Procedures Manual
- Provide individualized facility training on policies, procedures, and controls.
- Review Inventory Variance Reports monthly and work with Director of Systems and Planning and Warehouse Operations to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage schedule for inventory training requirements based on annual schedule or as identified based on inventory results.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned by the Director of Systems and Planning.
- Develop strategies and process improvements that can be presented to senior management to drive and improve operations within our warehouse operation
- Develop scorecards and metrics that will be used in the development of strategic business decisions
- Standard Operating Procedure development for the entire organization
**Experience/Knowledge Required**
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Operations Management or equivalent
- 3+ years Inventory Control Analyst experience, specifically within Supply Chain and Warehousing
- Self starter, works efficiently and can produce high quality work
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to comprehend complex concepts
- Excellent facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Experience in process design and implementation
