Dispatch Coordinator Ingersoll Canada

Responsible for coordination and implementation of freight movement between distribution centers
- Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers.
- Handle customer and internal inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Monitor and update TMS, WMS systems and inbound/outbound flow trackers.
- Analyze resource utilization and generate reports as needed.
- Ensure Quality and Safety in the respective work area.
- Assume Driver Supervisor Responsibilities in their absence.
- Assist with driver payroll tasks and expenses.
- Collaborate with both external internal partners to address concerns.
- Assist with other tasks assigned by DTI leadership based on business needs.

**We Need You To Have**:

- High school diploma or general equivalency
- A minimum of 1 year Dispatch experience
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Effective planning & organizational skills to handle fast paced environment and multiple deadlines.

**We’d Like You To Have**:

- College Diploma
- Knowledge of MTO, Federal and Provincial regulations for drivers and equipment
- Administrative / clerical experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong leadership skills
