**Job Summary**
**Duties**
**Front Desk Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the clinic.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with other functional areas and provide support as needed.
**Optometric Assistant Duties**:
- Perform preliminary tests.
- Prepare testing rooms and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use between each test.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration or optometry is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using office software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
