**We are seeking a Client Service Clerk to join our team**

Parkview Long-term Care Home is seeking to hire a Client Service Clerk.

Client Service Clerks (CSC) are employed to provide coverage at reception.

This position focuses primarily on customer service, greeting family and other guests, monitoring the safety of the main entrance area, interaction with residents,

and performing administrative duties.

**Details**

**Salary**: $17.80 /hour.

Position: Permanent part-time (currently 10 hours bi-weekly)

Training: ASAP

Scheduled hours: Alternate weekends

Scheduled alternate weekends:

- #1- Saturday 9 am - 2 pm
- #2 - Sunday 9 am - 2 pm

Additional availability for:

- Premium paid statutory holidays.
- Weekdays 3 pm - 8 pm.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet, assist, and direct all residents, visitors, and staff members.
- Answer incoming calls, and respond to caller's inquiries in a positive, professional manner.
- Perform clerical tasks not limited to typing, photocopying, faxing, running reports via PCC, managing nursing sick calls via SSC.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Uphold and promote the Parkview Services for Seniors values and philosophy.

**Qualifications**
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (VCS) - dated within past 6 months.
- TB surveillance pre-hire clearance.
- Previous experience in reception is considered an asset.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, work effectively within a variety of stressful situations, challenges, and frequent interruptions.
- Highly organized and detail focused capable of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organization, planning, time management and multi-tasking skills.

- Stouffville, ON L4A 0G8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
