Job description Main Duties - Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems. (HVAC, plumbling) and other equipment throughout the hotel - Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis. - Communicate with hotel department heads to become aware of maintenance needs and ensure timely response to internal requests. - Maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal" (Snow removal, lawn care, painting and gardening) - Be responsible for the testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting etc. on a routine basis as required by provincial and company standards. - Ensure the cost of effective and hygienic removal of garbage from the property in line with company policy. - Be on call to carry out emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours, as required by property policy. - Maintain records of repair work, testing work and daily checks as required by company. - Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. - Perform any other job related duties as assigned. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $15.30-$17.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site gym - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - Day shift - On call Work Location: In person
