Working on a 40-hour-per-week basis, the Coordinator would report directly to the Restoration Project Manager to support the Concrete Division including working closely with Project Supervisors. You will split your time between office tasks and occasional site visits, looking after the day-to-day administration of various projects. This includes coordinating with vendors for purchasing and delivery, overall knowledge of workplace health and safety, administrative tasks, data entry and other duties as assigned.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Data entry and modification of spreadsheets for estimates and project tracking.
- Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project manager and stakeholders.
- Assisting with resource scheduling to ensure crews have what they need to complete tasks.
- Scheduling meetings and facilitating communications between project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Managing project management documents such as project plans, budgets, and schedules as directed by the project manager.
- Purchasing items for job sites and collection of packing slips.
- Collecting safety sheets and creating an organization system.
- Foster cross-team collaboration.
**Qualifications and Experience Required**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related trade or field considered an asset.
- **Experience**: minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry in a similar role
- Attention to detail
- Driver license and vehicle in good working order required; work use reimbursed at CRA rates
- Working knowledge of project management software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks and priorities at the same time
- Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Clear Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector) must be maintained.
