**Job Overview**

**Duties**

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
  • Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Help with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when required.
  • Support individuals with disabilities in their daily routines and activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required by the facility or agency.
  • Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programs.

**Qualifications**

  • Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or patient care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
  • Experience working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice care settings is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients with mobility challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory.
