**Shift available**: Day Shift (6:00pm-2:00pm)

Clover Tool Manufacturing Limited is Canadian based and owned, privately held company. We specialize in automotive tooling, stampings and assemblies. We are capable of running a number of diverse projects. Today, Clover Tool operates in over a 175,000 square foot facility providing a full service solution to its customers. From prototyping, tooling, R&D work, stamping, assembling and welding to finished product, Clover Tool and its dedicated staff are committed to our customers’ requirements and wishes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to use Nav for ordering materials, tooling components and retrieving tooling records.
- Monitor daily production schedule to ensure tooling is production ready when requested.
- Monitor all NCR's and ensure they are all answered in a timely manner.
- Retrieve tooling information from Solidworks when requested.
- Oversee all Engineering changes to ensure deliverables are met.
- Review problematic tools with lead hand and assist in providing solutions.
- Sound understanding of GD&T, along with an understanding on how to use fixtures to obtain first off in press.
- Provide daily requirements to the CNC lead hand.
- To perform your duties respectful of your safety, safety of co-workers and all equipment and materials.
- Develop tool production improvements to achieve and maintain high quality tool manufacturing processes that are efficient and consistently yield excellent product quality.
- Effectively delegate tasks to toolroom employees.
- Provide technical information and timing for quotation purposes to management and other appropriate personnel as required.
- Update weekly timelines through the Project Administrator and supply applicable data required for weekly operations meetings.
- Co-ordinate outside source activities for successful die build and delivery.
- Direct involvement in recruitment activities and probationary and annual reviews, including all required paperwork.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and understand English.
- Toolmaker Certification.
- 8 years related trade experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supervisory capacity
- Post-Secondary Training in Supervision and Management Skill preferred
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and strategic planning capabilities
- Overhead Crane Certificate
- (Asset)
