Reporting to the Director of Operations and Analytics Strategy, the Marketing Performance Analyst is responsible for crafting and implementing strategies that are tailored to achieve objectives and goals for Core’s client base across several industries. The Marketing Performance Analyst will spend the bulk of their time analyzing results against client objectives and goals, and advising the Core team on how to adjust strategies, shift tactics, and make improvements to reach tracked client goals.

Training for this role will be provided. However, proven analytical, research and organizational skills are prerequisites for this position.

**Day to Day Responsibilities**:
**ONGOING MONITORING & ANALYSIS**
- Interpret data and evaluate KPI performance across all marketing channels based on client dashboards. Consistently communicate observations and insights with the Core team.
- Interpret results from client dashboards, work with the Core team and other third parties to share insights learned from the data analyzed and provide direction to implement or adjust tactics to improve results.
- Schedule regular biweekly meetings with the Core Team to review results and develop recommendations to improve key metrics.
- Develop a testing methodology for each client. Work with Core Team to implement and track learnings.
- Ensure data from all sources is accurate and captured appropriately.

**SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION**
- Advise the content team on the content calendar and content required to fulfill SEO goals.
- Identify target goals for keyword strategy and outline strategies to reach SEO goals.
- Develop competitive keyword analysis to identify competitor online presence on a client-by-client basis.
- Develop keyword maps to guide SEO efforts.
- Work with Core Team to execute updates to on-page SEO elements.
- Stay up-to-date on current SEO, SEM, and online marketing trends and best practices.

**TRACKING STRATEGY**
- Outline event tracking strategy and what must be tracked during the build phase including alerts.
- Communicate with Online Marketing Coordinator to ensure accurate setup of data collection tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Optimize, and other conversion tracking scripts on client websites.
- Build Reporting dashboards based on client objectives, goals, and KPIs for each marketing tactic. Provide Core team with a personalized view for each role. i.e
- Content dashboard, Social dashboard, Paid Advertising Dashboard, etc.

**PAID SEARCH MANAGEMENT**
- Strategy development for Paid Google and Social Advertising Campaigns
- Manage interactions with third-party ad management company on changes to ad campaigns on a regular basis.

**INTERNAL ADVISEMENT**
- Advise Core Team on progress towards objectives, shortfalls, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Core Team to develop actionable recommendations for each client.

**Required Attributes and Skills (Must Have)**:

- Mathematical Skills to work with large amounts of data from various sources.
- Analytical Skills to interpret data and present recommendations.
- Research Skills to uncover new resources and opportunities.
- Can provide feedback to others in a constructive manner.
- Ability to lead team meetings with clear actionable next steps.
- Open to receiving constructive feedback in a positive manner.
- Understanding of current trends and online marketing principles that impact customer acquisition and the customer journey.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and tasks with an effective resolution of conflicting priorities.

**The following would be considered an advantage but not required**:

- University Degree or College Diploma in a marketing-related program.
- Up-to-date Google Analytics and Ads Certifications.
- Up-to-date understanding of Search Engine Optimization Principles.
- Paid Search Management Experience.
- Social Media Advertising Experience.
- Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Webmaster Tools Experience
- Experience managing projects and tasks.
