**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, with attention to detail and artistic flair.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and properly stored according to food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for restocking.
- Adhere to all food handling guidelines and restaurant policies to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
- Assist in menu development by providing input on new sushi offerings based on seasonal ingredients.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi techniques and ingredients.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, meal preparation processes, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: $16.25-$21.51 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
