**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Assist in the planning and execution of facility standards and best practices
- Administer the enterprise Hazardous waste control program (HWIN)
- Assist the department manager in developing improvements to the internal process for managing adds, moves and changes to the office spaces and oversee the re-organization when required. Estimate the costs of adds, moves and changes providing options and alternate plans
- Develop and maintain contractor and vendor contact list including Contractor Compliance
- Maintain legislative filing requirements for Buildings and Properties.
- Process and monitor work requests from concept to completion
- Monitor facility expenses including project related work
- Monitor ongoing metrics and suggest areas for improvement
- Assist with the execution of Project work
- Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviours and objectives at all times in support if Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Programs and best practices.
- Implementation and data management of the new CMMS system
- Responsible for various Building Automation Systems(BAS) for energy efficiency and operations
- Responsible for access controls platform (Ccure 9000) for schedules and facilities critical equipment monitoring
- Maintenance of existing security camera system

**Must-haves for this role**:

- Post Secondary Education and/or experience in skilled trades or building operations
- Extensive experience and training in Facilities Management and Property Planning
- Good project and contractor management skills in the area of Facilities Management. Change management and diplomacy skills
