This is an Automotive Service Advisor/Customer Service Representative position. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, mature individual to join our team of professionals. Monroe Auto is a well-established, busy, family-owned, and operated automotive company. We are a "one-stop" automotive shop specializing in auto glass, hitches, general mechanics, detailing, tinting, paint protection, and automotive accessories. RESPONSIBILITIES: - provide excellent, professional customer service - vehicle inspections to upsell products and services - invoicing and data entry - ordering parts and accessories - proper procedures for returns when necessary - follow health and safety requirements - keep the waiting room, retail shop, and office area clean and organized at all times **REQUIREMENTS**: - automotive industry experience is required - customer service experience is required - valid Class G provincial driver's license, insurance, and clean driver's abstract is a definite asset but not required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - follow oral and written instructions in a fast-paced environment - daily record keeping and reporting - establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow employees, business associates, and customers - work effectively in a team-based environment and achieve common goals - maintain and perform top-level professional integrity and appearance - knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs is an asset - knowledge of automotive servicing and equipment is an asset **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 20-40 per week **Salary**: $15.00-$25.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - On-site parking - Store discount - Vision care Schedule: - 4 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift COVID-19 considerations: All required Covid-19 precautions are being taken. **Experience**: - automotive service advisor: 1 year (preferred) - customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: One location
