Kobay Enstel Ltd is looking for an experienced **Maintenance Lead Hand** for a **hands-on day-shift role** supporting our Maintenance Manager and guiding the maintenance team. This position blends technical millwright/electrician work with daily coordination of maintenance activities in a fast-paced automotive stamping and welding environment.

**What You’ll Do**

**Leadership & Coordination**
- Support the Maintenance Manager with day-to-day direction of the maintenance team
- Assign work, coach associates, and promote teamwork
- Lead or assist in day-shift meetings focused on safety, priorities, and planned work
- Provide hands-on training and technical support to team members
- Fill in for the Maintenance Manager when needed

**Preventive & Corrective Maintenance**
- Perform hands-on mechanical and/or electrical preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
- Repair pumps, cylinders, motors, valves, slides, gears, bearings, and other components
- Support stamping press, welding, and automation equipment
- Assist with welding, fabrication, grinding, and general mechanical work
- Work with PLCs, robotics, relay logic, wiring, and motors (troubleshooting/programming)
- Keep maintenance records and work orders accurate and up to date

**Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure proper lockout/tagout procedures
- Support safe use of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials
- Maintain 5S and keep work areas clean and organized
- Address hazards like oil leaks, unsafe storage, and trip hazards
- Promote safe work habits across the team

**What You Bring**
- Licensed trade certificate (electrical or mechanical) preferred
- 5+ years of automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Experience with stamping presses or automation is an asset
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate associates and assign work fairly
- Hands-on and comfortable working on equipment as needed
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with lockout, PSRs, confined space, and lift equipment safety
- Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 is an asset

**Work Environment**
- **Day shift position**:

- Busy stamping and welding facility
- Exposure to noise and trade-related hazards
- Overtime may be required to support customer demand

Pay: From $49.00 per hour
