Woodbridge, Canada Majic Paper & Packaging Full time

We are seeking a Shipper Receiver to become an integral part of our team You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble, address, stamp, label and ship merchandise or material
- Determine the best method of shipment and arrange to ship;
- Prepare waybills, custom forms, BOLs, and other shipping documents
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
- Unpack, Inspect, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
- Place goods in appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems.
- Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload (Lift 50LBs)
- Effective prioritization and multitasking skills to be able to meet daily shipment deadlines
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment when preparing shipments simultaneously
- Strong initiative and follow-up skills required when determining best shipping method and shipment statuses
- Team player and ability to communicate effectively with various departments
- Highly organized in keeping track of various shipment documentation

**Health and Safety**:

- Perform daily forklift inspection and report safety requirements and/or damage to equipment to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Comply with Health and Safety rules, policies and procedures of the company and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) particularly the “Duties of Workers” as stated in Section 28.

**Work Hours Requirement**:

- Monday - Friday
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$42,000.00 per year

- Woodbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
