**Position Objective**

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the warehouse, through the efficient inbound and outbound movement of product.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Job Knowledge
- Ensure accurate and timely processing and organization of workflow for shipping and receiving functions
- Efficient loading and unloading of products on trucks into racking system in a safe and timely manner, while ensuring product integrity
- Ensure proper product handling to maintain product integrity and safety
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all orders
- Ensure quality of product throughout the process of loading, unloading, storage and picking.
- Ensure full compliance with all operating and safety standards, policies and procedures
- Counting to ensure accurate quantities of product aligned with invoices
- Execute proper product labeling, allocation and storage of product in its appropriate cooler temperatures

Accountability
- Ensure accurate and timely processing and organization of workflow for shipping and receiving functions
- Maintain minimized product shrink as a result of damage and/or loss of product
- Ensure timely product delivery and excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation and inventory numbers
- Meet all assigned deadlines

Drive for Results
- Improved productivity
- Efficient and timely flow of product in bound and out bound
- Organized and esthetically appropriate storage and maintenance of product
- Maintain accurate inventory

Communication
- Maintain communication with staff throughout shift as required

People Management
- Determine pick and receipts priorities and delegate accordingly to team
- Follow up on picks and receipts to ensure efficient workflow productivity

Compliance
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ensure proper product handling to maintain product integrity, safety, food handling regulations, HACCP, BRC, GMP and applicable guiding legal regulations
- Ensure full compliance with all operating and safety standards, policies and procedures

Promotes and works to maintain workplace health and safety, through active compliance with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Any other duties as required.

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
